Whereas the rules of engagement define when, where and how force shall be used, Tools of Engagement will explore when, where and how Web 2.0 tools may be used to express parent/student voice in education.

However, as this blog will serve as my personal learning environment for all things Web 2.0 I may wander off in many directions.

A parent involved in education governance in New Brunswick, Canada. I’ve been a “lurker” on edublogs for some time and have decided it is time to join the conversation.  

I believe that learning in the 21st century should reflect the information age in which we live. If we choose to use the tools of technology we can engage students, parents, educators and communities and profoundly change our learning experiences.
